Canada and the Global Goal on Adaptation

For the first time, countries are seeking to define and measure collective progress on adaptation — across eleven dimensions, from water, food, and health to ecosystems, infrastructure, livelihoods, and culture. Yet defining "successful" adaptation remains deeply social and political: progress depends as much on legitimacy, accountability, and justice as on the technical metrics themselves.

What does this mean for Canadians? That's the question this project exists to answer.
